Hobbies: Skydiving, Chewing Bones, long walks, good pats and chasing the postman!
Started Skydiving: April 2001
Hamish is a very special little guy, freefalling from an aircraft at 6,000ft above the ground is a great accomplishment! Not only did he have pressure of all his canine friends awaiting him on the ground at Ellenbrooks Pooch Party for Appealathon, he had to also behave in a manner that would get him down safely. ( Yes that means no chewing on any harnesses & no uncalled for wriggling around whilst in the aircraft!)
So how did this fury friend of ours become an overnight star, splashed over the 3rd page of the newspaper. This is no ordinary Shiz Tzu x Silky Terrier, Hamish has made regular visits down to our Pinjarra Drop Zone to help his Skydiving Master, Steve Thomas. So it was only natural that after being surrounded by the skydiving race, that he'd become addicted too!

Gordon Hughes of Bayswater
Earlier last year Gordon Hughes of Bayswater realized his dream of skydiving at age 90.
"I've wanted to try parachuting ever since I pulled out of an umbrella jump when I was nine. We were jumping off the roof and my cousin went first. I though better of it when his umbrella turned inside out and he broke his collar bone."
"I had to do the jump before I got too old..." said Gordon.
